Can You Get Re2O While Your Skin Is Breaking Out and Inflamed?

When your skin is in a breakout and inflammation phase, PIND Dermatology Clinic will not schedule Re2O injections on the same day. Injecting inflamed skin affects results and may prolong the inflammation; control the acne first and inject once the skin has stabilized so the results truly reach the skin.

When your skin is breaking out and inflamed all over, it is not suitable to get Re2O on the same day. At PIND Dermatology Clinic, in cases like this we first perform acne extraction and exosome treatment to bring the inflammation down, and schedule Re2O after the skin has stabilized.

Why can't they be done together during the inflammation phase?

When inflamed skin receives any injection, the results are affected, and the inflammation phase may be prolonged. The purpose of acne extraction and exosome treatment is to bring the inflammation down; injecting Re2O at this point is like adding fuel while putting out a fire.

What is the correct order?

First bring the acne down, wait for the skin to stabilize for a while and the barrier to recover, then inject Re2O.

  • First control the inflammation and let the skin condition settle
  • After the barrier has recovered, schedule Re2O

Injecting later is not a loss; it makes sure every bit of what you spend is useful. Whether a course of treatment works well is half in the hands, half in the timing; not treating when the skin is unstable is sometimes more professional than treating.
